چکیده
We show the uniqueness and disjointness of Klyachko models for GLn over a non-archimedean local field. This completes, in particular, the study of Klyachko models on the unitary dual. Our local results imply a global rigidity property for the discrete automorphic spectrum.

A highly restricted temporal logic with a tractable decision procedure
This paper demonstrates the tractability of a highly restricted temporal logic, into which English sentences containing a variety of temporal prepositional constructions can be translated. This paper is intended as a preliminary study for a larger project of identifying tractable temporal logics corresponding to temporal constructions in natural language. This larger project also includes curre...
متن کاملLaterally complete and projective hulls of semilinear residuated lattices
The existence of lateral completions of `-groups is an old problem that was first solved, for conditionally complete vector lattices, by Nakano [5]. The existence and uniqueness of lateral completions of representable `-groups was first obtained as a consequence of the orthocompletions of Bernau [1], and later the proofs were simplified by Conrad [3], who also proved the existence and uniquenes...
متن کاملOperators and Observables in Isotopic Spin Space
The usefulness of the conventional isotopic spin formalism is somewhat marred by the fact that it contains superfluous formal elements which have no physical counterpart. It is demonstrated that application of the "superselection principle" for total electric charge, recently suggested by Wick, Wightman, and Wigner, is sufhcient to eliminate these superfluous elements and thus reduce the conten...

event. In reality, however, the partner events of a synchronous communication occur in di erent processes and therefore we might want to group them in di erent abstract events. The second approach introduces new events by splitting up send and receive events into two events each. If these two events in each process are assigned to di erent abstract events, the interpretation of these abstract e...
متن کاملGains from diversification on convex combinations: A majorization and stochastic dominance approach
By incorporating both majorization theory and stochastic dominance theory, this paper presents a general theory and a unifying framework for determining the diversification preferences of risk-averse investors and conditions under which they would unanimously judge a particular asset to be superior. In particular, we develop a theory for comparing the preferences of different convex combination...
